an artist raised in an artist’s town
I was raised in Fairhope when it was still a small town, and the artist’s way has enchanted me from an early age. I see art and light and magic everywhere; not just through my lens, but in the light filtering through leaves and the magic of my daughter’s love. I appreciate the beauty in everything, every day. That’s just how my mind and heart are wired, and it benefits me hugely as a photographer.
I have an old soul. I don’t follow trends that well and I’m definitely not on TikTok. I’m inspired by history, travel, and romance. I’ve found beauty all over the world, from the southern most point of Africa to the top of the Eiffel Tower. This old soul is the reason my chosen photography medium is film. film captures magic in a way digital just never will. film is intentional. film is soulful. film is beautiful. it will always be my method.
You are beautiful. there is nothing for me to find or discover in you.
